Re: New Bike
I have just over 700 miles on it now; 250 from this afternoon. Gas mileage; 45+ Speedo is accurate within 1 mph of GPS speed. (cruise is awesome) V-Stream windshield is 6" taller than stock and does an excellent job. Nice and stable on gravel roads. http://i.imgur.com/FfuxuEO.jpg http://i.imgur.com/...

Re: New Bike
Was able to break free for a little ride yesterday; put about 70 miles on it. Very smooth ride and the cruise control is awesome. I have ordered a V-Stream touring windshield for a little extra wind protection, but so far so good. The all weather gun case mounted on the back is the one currently ava...

Re: New Bike
this bike has always intrigued me. let us know how you like it. I've done a lot of shopping over the past year and kept coming back to the Tenere. Shaft drive, tubeless tires, cruise control !! I also like the clean look when you take the factory hard bags off, it doesn't have the normal metal brac...

Re: New Bike
I picked mine up in Oklahoma. You should be able to pick one up for 15% off MSRP without any other BS fees; I did even better than that.Chance wrote:Where are you going to pick it up and what is the price? That is the bike I want except black.
Thanks

Troy,
Would the Corp allow a skid steer or compact utility tractor inside the riding area if one was available on the 23rd ?

Re: School Creek Trail Maintenance Day
I just returned from School Creek; went out this morning for a sneak preview. We have got our work cut out for us; things are ugly out there. I will bring my ATV and can play taxi. A large majority of the trails are dangerous for ATV's because the motorcycle traffic has cut the center so deep. The g...

Has anybody been there recently? Is it flooded?
School Creek is flooded and covered with poison ivy so I'm looking for other options.
We have had 19.5 inches of rain in Salina since May 1st, need things to dry out a little !!!!!!!!!!

There are two areas that I know of: one on the west side of the lake and one area on the east side by Venango point. The one on the back side was way overgrown when I tried to ride there last fall; also very rocky and rough. The one on the front side is sand and dirt, not a very large area, but you ...

My concern would be: Bringing to the attention of the county that these roads are in fact still being used by the public (motorcycles and 4x4s). These roads that they do not maintain and have baiscally forgotten about now may be viewed as a liablity and actually spark a road closure? Just my thoughts.
