Re: Rear Turn Signals/ Jetting -DRZ 400

I ran 25/150 jets on my DRZ but I didn't have full exhaust. 160 still seems like it might be a little big. For turn signals, I used Bikemaster brand. At $15 to $25 a set, you can afford to break one now and then. I went with their carbon fiber look and used the Universal Flush Mount Marker lights on...

Re: Sat Oct 11th 3rd Manhattan fun ride (for all ages)

Here's how the trails are lookin' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MQwZHI1H4zI When you say "the trails", do you mean the trails at Luc's place for this ride? Luc told me he was working on some new trails. Great Job Luc!! You must have worked hard and moved tons of dirt because your wooded trails lo...

Re: Post pics or video from your ride today

First post! I just returned from CO on a 4 day 1680.7 mile ride. I am new to the adventure world and this was my first overnight ride. I hope this was the first of many rides to come! Great Pics! Were you solo the whole time? I hope you don't mind inclement weather because it looks like you encount...

Re: Sunday September 28: Perry Lake ORV Work Day!

I plan on being there with my chainsaw, three weed eaters and a Polaris Ranger in my enclosed trailer. The Ranger has a winch on the front that will drag some pretty big logs out of the way if necessary. If something is too heavy to pull, the winch just drags the Ranger up for a closer look! We shou...

Re: School Creek 9/27/14

Nice video Luc! That trail around the outside of the East riding area is a lot of fun. That was a well-executed double log jump for both of you shortly before minute six. I thought Ethan was going to get hung up there for a while but he popped right over. I moved some smaller logs to the right on La...

Re: Anyone riding dirt this weekend?

So, School Creek was a muddy, slippery mess today. Once I got out and got a little muddy I figured I may as well just ride! Kept my boots on the pegs and my fingers on the clutch most of the day. It was good practice for riding very slippery conditions. Didn't leave hardly a rut...just pushed around...

  We were blessed with a heavy, soaking rain last night. 1 5/8 inch at my place.

Impossible to know what riding areas will be like until someone puts boots and rubber on the ground.

Re: Anyone riding dirt this weekend?

A few of us going to School creek or Randolph on Labor Day You decided where you are riding for sure? I still plan to ride at School Creek with one other dude that I think is coming. If he backs out and you guys are riding Randolph then I would probably go there instead. Savage, you riding tomorrow...

Re: Anyone riding dirt this weekend?

Riding School Creek on Labor Day...if it isn't a muddy mess. More scattered storms expected so we will have to keep a close eye on who gets wet.

Savage, I don't think it is the same bike. Nice picture...that is the Northwest corner of the Spillway Cycle Area overlooking Tuttle Creek Resevoir. I believe you have posted several pics of a number of different bikes at that spot! Thanks for your input guys. My friend said he was going to b...

1984 Honda XL350R Needs our help!

There is an old timer I know at K-State who rides his 84 XL350R to work almost every day. Apparently this model is pretty rare and he wants to keep it all original. Some jack hole backed into it, knocking it over against a brick wall...then took off without owning up to it. He has it at a local mech...

Re: School Creek Trails, Saturday June 28

Due to an absentee, one case of botanophobia, a really good chance of thunderstorms and a general lack of interest most people would cancel the ride.
Not me, I am going riding anyway. Plan to be out on the trails about 9:30 AM and will ride most of the day or until I get bored.

You on for the DS ride the next day? That would make an awesome weekend of riding. Bash School Creek and then bash whatever Troy has in mind for a DS ride. BTW. Rick said he is getting the first KTM 250 Freeride available. Anyone want to head to Arkansas with me to try it out? Stu Aww, you're kill'...

Not to worry Guys! I went out to the trails after work today in my gym shorts and flip flops and weed-whacked all the poison ivy plants with my gas trimmer...should be good to go.

School Creek Trails, Saturday June 28

I haven't been able to squeeze much riding in this year, so I am itching to get out and run some fuel through the KTM.
Nothing formal or organized ...just show up and ride!
