Except for the tiny issue of the wrongly accused, man I wish we could simply cut the hands off thieves like they did in the good ole days. That would HAVE to be a major deterrent to small crime. I believe it was "Judge Carlos" (Carlos Mencia) who said: "Which hand was it? Let me see it...CLINK!! We...

 Troy and I were swimming in a creek near our farm. I'm thinking he was about 11 which would make me about 9. What must have been the largest snapper I have ever seen came swimming towards us. All we could see was his enormous scaly shell and top of his fat scary head. We couldn't have jumped o...

I think the plan is to regroup tuesday or so armed with cobalt bits. Ian, can you borrow a few bits overnight? Maybe start with 1/8" or 5/32" and I don't know what to drill for 8mm threads Here is a link to tap drill size charts. I have too many other things to remember so I just carry one in my dr...

Maybe we can blame your wipe-out on the four missing bolts???...sounds good to me!

I just checked the calendar and I am on call for work the first weekend of June, which means no riding for me. :(

Wish I could have ridden with you Trace! I haven't made it to the Marquette rally yet. Monica and I took off work Friday and drove to KC to meet our new neice. We then drove home in the middle of the night so we could help Monica's dad remove his old guttering and install new permanent fascia....lot...

LOL! I am about ready to say "Screw it!!"...and just go get REALLY muddy! I drove out to Southeastern Kansas and back today. Almost every river and creek I drove by was either overflowing their banks or about to. I hear up North is much worse. So tomorrow the Southern half of the state should...

What a GREAT ride!! I needed that big time. My hat is off to Trace for finding some of the best min. maintenance roads in Kansas. Here is a link to the few photos I managed to get. Hey, when you're doing 60mph+ on some pretty extreme terrain(for the Flint Hills anyway), you don't have time for photo...

Welcome Jim! Look forward to riding with you. I also love the black color scheme on your DR. I had too much time on my hands this Winter so I made some changes to my 2000 DRZ400. It all started because I needed a larger fuel tank. Before and after pics http://picasaweb.google.com/wolf.kyle/MyRide/ph...

Troy: Just before I called today to see about uploading photos to the web I went to Google first and looked into Picasa. I meant to ask you if you knew anything about it. Google is the bomb! I'm downloading Picasa now. All: One thing to consider(like Mike stated) is storage space. Cox is my ISP prov...

We've had a lot of rain here...I wonder how much they've had over in Junction City (Milford Lake). School Creek ORV there is very rocky in most places and does well with rain. But if it has rained a lot for 2 or 3 days, it will be a mess, too. Great weekend to do a long Flint Hills ride...but I kno...

With all the rain we've had, it will definately be a mudfest on the trails. This really bums me out 'cause there is a reason I run 90 off-road/10 on tires!!! Mike, I know you probably don't want to re-schedule and I don't either. I really need a break so just camping, relaxing and riding gravel will...

We could cram everything in my Dodge...but it'll be easier if we take my trailer. I'm still shopping for a toy hauler/camper. Not a lot of affordable options out there. hmmmm...nothing wrong with my $50 tent and $600 flatbed trailer

The Spillway Cycle Area isn't near as big, only about a couple square miles of land, but it would be worth checking out. If nothing else, the roads to and from the dam would be fun to ride with plenty of scenery. I going to plan a geo-cache ride around Tuttle reservoir when Troy can get back in the ...

Now, what a coincidence this is!! I was just up working in the Manhattan area this week. I had to perform a safety test on a 1935 elevator in the Clay County Historical Museum on Wednesday. The elevator should be it's prime attraction. On the way back to the Hampton Inn in Manhattan I took a drive a...
