Flat Track Motorcycle races this Friday!

I plan on heading out to 81 Speedway this Friday, May 30th at 7:30 pm to watch the NFTRA motorcycle races. Hopefully we can get dried up enough if the rains hold off!

Re: you know it's time /May 24

As far as know...the Wolf Brothers are IN for this ride :!: I haven't talked to Troy in the last couple of days so I am not sure where we will be meeting up at yet. I am looking forward to a Long and Relaxing Memorial Weekend. Remember all of our "Brothers in Arms" serving overseas and do whatever y...

Re: April 3-6, 2008: April Fool's Ride in Arkansas!

What really makes the trip a success, though, is the quality of people that show up to ride. Mulberry Mountain Lodge provides an unbeatable atmosphere and location. The BBQ caterers really impressed us with a fantastic spread. The weather turned out 10x better than I expected, too! It all comes tog...

Re: April 3-6, 2008: April Fool's Ride in Arkansas!

I'm really looking forward to getting away from work next week and doing some riding. A man needs to spend a little time in the woods once in a while just to keep his sanity, you know what I mean? Dude, I know EXACTLY what you mean! I had to play "hookie" last Friday and take my DRZ out into the co...

Re: my new bike trailer

That trailer is looking good, Mike! Too bad there is only room for 1 bike! :D Dude, I wouldn't worry about your wheel bearings, plus you said that you have fresh grease in them. If a bearing starts throwing grease, it will be obvious on those pretty white rims! Those wheels look to be the same as al...

folding saw with replacement blade(s) (KC!)
HA HA! yeah, I caught that Mike!

By the way all, we cut through all that at around 10,000 ft. elevation. One of us should tell the whole story one night at the lodge.

Re: BMW Pulls out of Wichita and KC?

I was just chatting with the owner of Performance West in Coffeyville, KS. He has been at the same location and the first motorcylcle dealer in Coffeyville for 35 years. He almost went bankrupt in the late 80s, now he sells lawn mowers and Chinese atvs and mini-bikes. Anyway, the guy was full of kno...

Re: April 3-6, 2008: April Fool's Ride in Arkansas!

have aways wanted to try a night ride, but never done it! I might want to join you guys and give it a shot if I can get my headlight working. I put in one of those fancy stators, 60 watt light bulb, and helmet light, but I messed something up on my bike. Anytime I turn on the lights it seems to dra...

Re: EXC300 data for Hayden

What about the 300 MXCs ?? There is a 2000 up at Streamline Performance in Hutch for $1600. I've been watch'n and think'n about it for a couple months. I haven't been up to take it around the parking lot yet, and it looks like it has a lot of rust on the chain/sprockets from being left outside. Here...

AAH DANG!! At first glance I thought you were inviting us over for a Chili Feed! :P ...you're just wanting a recipe.

I'm pretty sure you don't want the Chili recipe from over here, it's not much to jump up and down about.
Beans
Meat
Stewed tomatoes
Chili Powder
Water

Re: The official "exotic bike" club

Hey, I just changed my front tire and I must have been confused as to what side the brake rotor is on because I installed the directional tire backwards. Is it worth changing back or is it no big deal? I did the same thing by accident with a Pirelli Scorpion I was running on the front. I examined t...

Re: The official "exotic bike" club

In the Wichita area, you might try Speed Tech at 316-262-7223. The guy's been doing shocks and forks as long as I can remember. He's done three of my CO riding buddie's shocks and forks, recently. I'm about to have my forks and shock on the 2002 ktm 640adv R&R there, soon. Wil THANKS!! didn't know ...

Re: The official "exotic bike" club

Thanks Trace, I'm going to pull my forks off and go for it, I'll give Dan's a call if the repair doesn't go my way! I don't trust M.A.P. to work on my bike, don't really have a reason other than I haven't met anybody I like up there. :| Sorry Slim, I hijacked your post and turned it into "Kyle's tec...

Re: The official "exotic bike" club

KC- Why do you say you will only be riding your DRZ for another year? You are way too young to quit riding. Why retire. I need to replace some wheel bearing also, did you get them at the dealer or order online? I believe the imparative word was "replace"! Funny you say that though; I should ...

Re: The official "exotic bike" club

#5 is a spacer tube. Nothing special. Kind of looks like electrical conduit that was cut to length. If you lengthen that, then you stiffen up the fork. Too much length and the fork will bottom out. Shorten it and the fork gets softer. Too short and the front end will sag. On my F650 I went with pro...

Re: The official "exotic bike" club

My DRZ is not looking very exotic right now: http://lh6.google.com/wolf.kyle/R6JoqM8TZ9I/AAAAAAAABIE/tVZVPIECopg/s800/Shes%20Naked.JPG I started stripping her down last weekend when the weather was BEAUTIFUL, but my enthusiasm disappeared early in the day. Have to get my new wheel bearings installed...
