Re: 1st Annual RideForum Enduro Skills Challenge!

Have it marked on my calendar! I would probably camp out if others were doing the same. Is there a place for a "small" camp fire? I have a fire pit ready to go. As of yet I have NO firewood. You may need to BYOW. I will post up if I come across some wood between now and then.

Re: 1st Annual RideForum Enduro Skills Challenge!

I'm in! And when I say I'm in, I mean I'd enjoy coming over and hanging out. Would it be a kid friendly day? If so, maybe I could bring my boys bike over. Anywho, sounds like a fun day. Little ones are always welcome here. My day will be focused on the "competition" , however, and then I plan to le...

He is a professional rider with big kahunas. His buddies were parallel to him in the trophy truck filming the stunt. I studied the footage paying close attention to body language and timing of suspension compression and such. Look at how early he lifts his feet completely up off the pegs and tucks c...

Re: GS tire?

When I converted my old DRZ over to road riding I bought 50/50 Shinkos (don't remember the model # for sure). I didn't research at all, I just took a chance and bought them because they were cheap. For riding OFF ROAD in wet and muddy conditions they pretty much sucked. :( But, for everyday trail ri...

A Fantastic day of riding :!: School Creek never disappoints. It was great riding with old friends and some new ones.
The bike is unloaded, the gear put away, just cracked open a Bud and Monica has BBQ ribs slow cooking in the crock pot...what a nice day. :D

Re: October 26-28: Off-Road at Disney, OK

I pulled into my drive just after 8PM. I'm tired and sore but happy after a much needed break. I need to re-align some vertebrae after all the log jumps and rock hopping but it was worth every minute...I just haven't been able to ride much this year. Great to see all of you and look forward to seein...

Re: Question about riding etiquette

This situation should rarely happen with a group so small. Seems pretty common when you go on a ride with 8 to 10 or more, there is always one guy that "forgets" to check for the guy behind him at a turn in the road or fork in the trail. This reminds me of our trip to Colorado in 2007 when we cut of...

Stu, that sounds amazing! Some day I will actually have time to go on long adventures. Out of curiousity and without doing the research myself, how many miles are you talking here?
