FYI, I got home Wed. from this trip. Did the Black Hills on way home like posted above. Very nice trip, quite doable on a KLR (most anything that'll do the speed limit). Had a great time doing 2325 miles. New back tire is on order!haha Did anyone else ride the Smackdab Run? If so, what's your story?...

Last year I told a friend about the Smackdab and he and his father-in-law did it. I backed-out, couldn't imagine 700 miles on my KLR. They said it was great and quite do-able on my bike.
