My dad stopped farming when I was 9 we only had 400 acres, 180 crop land and the rest pasture and timber. There were to many dry years and to may mouths to feed. We were to far from anywhere to have worry about someone complaining about noise. I don't know about the rap music but donuts in a combine...

It's about time somebody shut those damn farmers up. Who do they think they are running their noisy machinery?! Nothing pisses me off more than when I'm on some backroad enjoying a beautiful day of dualsport adventure and come upon a field with a farmer running his obnoxiously loud tractor belching...

I just finished reading "Lois on the loose" by Lois Pryce. She is a British woman who quit her job with the BBC and shipped her Yamaha XT225 Serow to Alaska and rode it to the southern tip of South America. It was a good read.

I had the Maier handguards on my 06 KLR and had the same problem. I moved the brake lever in and bent and twisted until I was pulling my hair out. I finally bought some Acerbis Rally Pros and they worked out for me. Maier does make an ATV version that are a little different shape at the end of the h...
